University library receives the name after Pierre du Moulin
On 9th June, 2015 by decision of the Rector, the University library was named after Pierre Du Moulin, the founder and Rector of the Theology Institute, the predecessor of SabaUni. Theology Doctor, Pierre Du Moulin has been actively involved in the academic activities of the institute and later of the University. The library was founded with his donation. International conferences, symposiums and public lectures were held with his support. The Center for Christian Culture was also founded on his initiative, where various theological and philosophical literature was translated and published.
Pierre Du Moulin was born in Monaco. He studied at Pontifical Gregorian University (Italy) and Jerusalem State University (Israel). He worked in Switzerland as a professor of Theology and Biblical Studies. He was also a pro-rector of St. Petersburg Theological Seminary.
He is an author of numerous scientific works and articles. Pierre Du Moulin delivers lectures at our University.
