Khatuna Mkhoyan, BA student of Business Administration and Exchange Program student of the University of Valladolid.
Khatuna studied spring semester of 2018-2019 academic year in the Spain with Erasmus+ ICM program. After her return in Georgia, Khatuna shares her impression about study in Spain.
“Study abroad was always my dream and as I had this possibility, I did my best to achieve to the goal, of course, for this I had to overcome some barriers but It was worth it. In the Beginning I thought this program would give me good experience, the possibility to get acquainted Spanish culture and I did not make a mistake, the Spanish reality has exceeded my expectations.
During the study in Spain, the practical task and work in groups were my favorite ones, as I think such approaches of teaching are more fruitfully for the students.
The one semester, five months, that I spent in Spain was the big challenge for me, as it was the first time, that I had to live far from my family for so long time. The Erasmus+ exchange program gave me huge experience, I became more independent, had the opportunity to attend and listen interesting lectures and seminars, I made a lot of friends from all over the world and of course, I learnt Spanish language, that was one of my dream.
I am very lucky and satisfied, as I had the possibility to participate in the Erasmus+ program and live five months abroad, although I had to overcome many difficulties, this period helped me to learn how to solve the problems independently.
Erasmus+ for me is the one of the best issues that can be happen in the students live. I am very happy that Sabauni (my university) gave this opportunity to get such good experience and become a member of Erasmus+ family.
