Salome Gogberashvili
The Pontifical University of Krakow (Poland)
Salome Gogberashvili, associate professor of Sabauni, was visiting the Pontifical University of Krakow within the staff mobility program of Erasmus+. Within the framework of the visit, along the lectures, the Sabauni professor held working meetings with his Polish colleagues, where they discussed future cooperation, participation in conferences and joint projects.
"The mobility was interesting and fruitful. During the visit, I had several lectures with students on the topic of family, where I discussed the institution of the family in Eastern European countries and modern tendencies next to the American family. We also talked about gender stereotypes, types of domestic violence, etc. The meeting with the Polish colleagues turned out to be quite interesting, they were interested in the lecture course presented by me and most likely they will offer a similar course to students in the future. In addition, both sides expressed their readiness to participate in international conferences organized by our home universities" - Salome Gogberashvili.
Salome Gogberashvili is an affiliated associate professor of English philology at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Prof. Gogberashvili's mobility took place on April 15-19 of this year.
