About the Faculty
The mission of the Law Faculty of Sulkhan-Saba-Orbeliani University is to prepare qualified, completable, legally high cultured and professionally ethical lawyers and public officials. The faculty is consisted of lecturers from gained practice as well as legal scholars of superlative qualification. The lectures are conducted with due use of most recent methods of teaching. Alongside in each semester the faculty is visited by foreign professor for the purpose of conducting masterclasses for law faculty students. Both Bachelor and Master programs are active on the faculty. Mentioned programs offer students recent exclusive teaching courses, such as for example, Blockchain Law, the Law of Social Media, The Public-Private Partnerships Law, the Crime and Media and others. Moreover, all programs are always renewed and refreshed, as to warrant students with such new teaching disciplines, which they will successfully use in practice and will make them compatible on job market. Working on Doctoral Program is ongoing process, which will be added to the faculty presumably till the end of the year 2020. The faculty of law meets with due attention gaining of professional skills in students. For the mentioned purpose, the department promotes students with inclusion in different projects, imitative legal proceedings, conferences or activities of other nature. The faculty collaborates with different public or private establishments, where students are sent with learning visits, as well as for acquiring practice and evaluation. Under the auspices of faculty twice in a year student conferences are organized. Publishing of student journal is planned, the publisher board of which will be consisted of academicians of the university alongside with the students of the university. The process of expertise is ongoing on the faculty. Several handbooks and articles where published. Among them some are included in the syllabuses of not only Sabauni but also teaching courses of other universities. On the faculty several research centers and institutes of law are functioning. These are:

- Trafficking Research Centre
In research institutes and centers apart from lecturers’ students are included within the scope of their interests, this promote students in acquiring scientific and social research skills.
Publishing of internationally recognized and highly reputable bilingual journal is planned. The publisher board of the journal will be consisted of Georgian and foreign scholars.
The Faculty of Law of Sabauni collaborates with law faculties of many European Universities. Separately should be mentioned relations with such well known European Educational Centers as the University of DEUSTO (Spain). Catholic University of Lyon (France). The John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (Poland), the University of Cyprus (Cyprus). Lvov National University of Ivan Franko (Ukraine) and others. We offer students exchange programs in foreign universities within the frame of Erasmus+ Mobility. Relevantly in each semester some students of law faculty are sent to our partner universities. Law faculty of Sabauni has various plans and projects, which are to be conducted step by step and offer students many innovations.
