On November 14–15, 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University organized an international scientific conference, "Societies at the Stage of Transformation," dedicated to the topic In Search of Peace and Well-Being.

In the world of "VUCA" (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity), also in view of the Russian military aggression against Ukraine and global challenges, the issues of peace and human well-being are coming to the fore, especially the aspects of cultural and political transformation for the countries at the stage of democratic transition. Political, social, and economic changes have a great impact on the development of states, migration, acceptance of these changes, and stability of transitional democracies, as well as on perceptions, attitudes, demands, relations, freedom of expression, and how human security, well-being, and psychosocial health are generally perceived.

"At the same time, innovations in the teaching-learning process and the importance of employing modern approaches are of special interest. Within the framework of the conference, a workshop on the topic 'Innovative Methods of Pedagogy: „HOW TO INNOVATE IN PEDAGOGY TO MAKE YOUR STUDENTS MORE COLLABORATIVE? ILLUSTRATION WITH THE REVERSE CLASSROOM" is scheduled for November 14. The workshop, titled 'How to Innovate in Pedagogy to Make Your Students More Collaborative? Illustration with the Flipped Classroom,' will be led by Professor Jean-Charles Cayet (HDR, MBA), Vice President for Innovations at the Catholic University of Lille and Director of the School of Design 'HEMiSF4iRE'."
