Trafficking Research Centre
The Trafficking Research Centre was founded in 2023 at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University with the support of the Netherland National Police grant. The research center also represents the part of Consocrcium similar trafficking centers in central Europe and the only trafficking research center in our Region.
The goal of this center is to raise awareness about trafficking crimes:
- Create several special courses about trafficking issues at the master's level;
- Encourage students to be involved in the research activity;
- Establish research and educational contacts with local and foreign organizations;
- Fulfill ordered or granted work by international, state, private, or nongovernmental organizations;
- Translation activities;
- Publishing activities.
