EIDA

Educational Integrity in the AI-Driven Digital Age (EIDA) this is an Erasmus+ KA2 CBHE institutional development project funded by the European Commission.

The project aims to improve the quality and relevance of higher education in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI), data, and media literacy through the development and implementation of micro-modules, the review and improvement of assessment systems and processes, and the integration of Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows. These approaches will be integrated into real educational programs and quality assurance (QA) processes, helping to align teaching and assessment practices with contemporary requirements.

The project will also strengthen institutional management and governance capacity by developing and implementing policy, ethics, and data protection frameworks for the responsible and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence. In addition, a regional online knowledge hub will be created, providing a sustainable platform for sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices. Implementing a Train-the-Trainer model will help strengthen institutional capacity, develop internal multipliers, and establish sustainable mechanisms for professional development.

As a result of these activities, the project will contribute to qualitative improvements in teaching, assessment, quality assurance, and international cooperation, and will support modernization and reform processes in the target systems, in line with the goals and requirements of the relevant Action.

Universities and organizations in the project consortium:

  • Gaziantep University (Turkey)
  • University of Crete (Greece)
  • Greece for Us (Greece)
  • Baku Business University (Azerbaijan)
  • Odlar Yurdu University (Azerbaijan)
  • Georgian-American University (Georgia)
  • Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University (Georgia)

The project runs for three years, from 2026 to 2029.
