About the Conference

The annual international conference "Catholic Heritage in Georgia" was founded in 2017 by Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and the Commission for Culture and Church Unity of the Roman Catholic Church in Georgia.

This powerful symposium aims to inspire local and international scientific communities to delve into the significant contributions of the Catholic Church and Catholic society to Georgia's social and cultural development process, both nationally and internationally. The conference is held annually, and the presented articles are published as a collection, indicating its growing importance and the increasing involvement of the scientific community and professional circles.

The conference's working languages are  Georgian,  English, and Italian.

The organizers of the symposium are Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and the Council of Culture and Ecumenism, existing with the Catholic Church in Georgia.

Symposium is typically held in  June every year.
