FUCE Scholarship for the students from Faculty of Theology and Social Sciences (2023-24)
Sabauni offers the FUCE scholarship to the students from faculty of Theology and Social Sciences. Students are able to apply for FUCE member universities for one semester study mobility. Total scholarship is 2 500 Euro (travel and living).
Applicants must:
1. Be student of the faculty of Theology or Social Sciences at Sabauni
2. Have a good academic record
3. Have a good command of the language of instruction of the courses to be followed
4. Student must not have already received another grant during the mobility semester
5. Be able to show that they possess the personal qualities to benefit from their mobility grant and use it to succeed in their chosen career.
6. Be citizen Georgia
Selection procedures:
First step: student must send the following documentation to International Relations Office of Sabauni (ir@sabauni.edu.ge )
Documentation:
- Application form
- Copy of Passport or ID
- Student status letter
- Academic records (in English)
- International certificate confirming a good command (B2) of the foreign language (if not available, a document issued by the Sabauni Language Center will be also acceptable)
- A 200 words statement about themselves with a focus on their educational objectives, their professional goals and aspirations and how they think this mobility grant will help to achieve their goals
- Letter of reference (Dean of the Faculty, Professor)
- Proof of status of the socially vulnerable family (if applicable)
Second step: Interinstitutional selection / interview
Third step: Sabauni will send the student’s documentations to the host university
Fourth step: Sending all documents to FUCE secretary and final selection by FUCE
Notice: Preference will go towards applicants who have never received abroad study grant.

5. International certificate confirming a good command of the foreign language (B2)
6. A 200 words statement about themselves with a focus on their educational objectives, their professional goals and aspirations and how they think this mobility grant will help to achieve their goals.
7. Letter of reference ( Dean of the Faculty, Professor, Academic supervisor)
8. FUCE learning agreement. This agreement has to be completed and approved by both institutions (sending and hosting);
9. Letter of acceptance of the host University.
Deadlines:
13 March, 15:00– Test in Foreign Language for those who do not have an international certificate (students wishing to write the test should come to auditorium 407 at 14:00)
10 March – first step, to send the documents to IR office of Sabauni
14 March - Interview with the selection committee
Final answers will be announced at the end of May and applicants will be notified by email
