9th International Scientific Symposium - Catholic Heritage in Georgia
Place:3 Kalistrate Kutateladze St., Tbilisi, Georgia
On June 3 - 4, 2026, the 9th International Symposium “Catholic Heritage in Georgia” will be held at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, aiming to research, analyze, and assess the importance of the Roman Catholic Church and Georgian Catholics work in the country’s political, social, and cultural life.
The symposium will be dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the Christianity in Georgia.
The conference materials will be published as a proceeding.
The languages of the symposium are Georgian, English, and Italian.

Requirements:
- Time-limit: 12–15 minutes
- The volume of the scientific report: 6-7 pages, A4 format, all areas: 2 cm, Shift: Georgian-Sylfaen, 12;
- English/Italian: Times New Roman 12; passage 1 (single), paragraph 1 cm.
Text Structure:
- First name, second name (on the first line in bold);
- Affiliation
- Report Title (bold, size 14);
- Scientific report in Georgian, resume in English (100–150 words)
- Citation and bibliography, Chicago style;
Note: Sources authenticated in non-Latin script should be indicated in the bibliography in transliterated form according to the romanization rule. You can find out the rules of transliteration at the link.
The organizers of the symposium are Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and the Council of Culture and Ecumenism existing with the Catholic Church in Georgia.
