Dean of Faculty of Business at WSPA
On 12th - 16th of March of 2018 Giorgi Mikanadze, Dean of faculty of Business and Tourism of Sabauni has participated in ERASMUS+ KA107 ICM project at University College of Enterprise and Administration of Lublin, Poland, where took a part in International Staff Week, organized by host University. Except of Sabauni there were the representatives of the Universities from China, Taiwan, Bolivia, Turkey, Spain, Argentina, Serbia and Moldova.
The aim of the Staff Week is to share experience and build the contacts. During the Week, the representatives made presentation about their home Universities, discussed several actual topics, like: modern teaching methods, student, academic and administrative staff mobility, academic programs and etc. The Week participants also had met the WSPA students and talked to different actual issues.
“After International Staff Week, I have communication with other Universities and for nowadays we have the perspectives of collaboration with Chinese and Turkish Universities (Kirklarely University). The collaboration will be interesting for students of faculty of Tourism, the agreement of collaboration are ready and it will be signed in the nearest future. We have the possibility to send our Tourism student to Turkey for internship/study internship in the famous Turkish hotels and Touristic points. We have negotiations with Chinese part and we hope the collaboration with them will be also very fruitful. I think, this visit was very successful for Sabauni and we do our best offer our Students various possibility for their development. – Giorgi Mikanadze, Dean of faculty of Business and Tourism has mentioned.
The cooperation within Erasmus+ ICM program between Sabauni and WSPA has begun in 2016-2017 academic year. From the next year it is supposed to add student mobility for Faculty of Business.
