FUCE General Assembly

The Rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, Father Akaki Chelidze, and the Vice-Rector, Professor Dimitri Gegenava, participated in the General Assembly of the Federation of Catholic Universities of Europe (FUCE), which was hosted by the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium) on June 5 of this year.

The theme of the 2025 General Assembly was: “The Spiritual Dimension of a Holistic Approach to Health: The Possible Contribution of Catholic Universities.”

The General Assembly is held annually and brings together representatives of member universities of the Federation of Catholic Universities of Europe. During the event, participants evaluate the federation’s activities and discuss the challenges facing Catholic universities.
