Since, a Croatian professor in Sabauni was representing not only the Faculty of Sociology but also the International Relations Office of the Catholic University of Croatia, within his visit Seso also met with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine- Ms. Jilda Cheishvili. ”I got to know the members of the faculty and staff of Sabauni University. I spoke to the Head of several faculties and departments and learned about the Georgian high educational system. During my stay, I also participated in a scientific conference on cultural heritage. That was very useful considering me being an ethnologist and cultural anthropologist. The main benefit was the agreement on future collaboration and application for Erasmus+ KA171 projects. We spoke about applying in the field of social sciences and humanities (sociology, psychology, theology, communication sciences) for students and staff as well as for staff in the field of medical sciences. We concluded that both of our universities have similar and compatible studying programs, and we also discussed some details about ECTS points recognition on both universities“- Prof. Luka Seso
During his visit to Sabauni, Prof. Luka Seso took part in the International Symposia- “Catholic Heritage in Georgia”, organized by Sulkan-Saba Orbeliani University. His topic of the report was about the remarks and comparisons of Georgian and Croatian elements on UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists.
Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University has been cooperating with the Catholic University of Croatia for years within the framework of different joint projects.
