Clinical Legal Education Conference – Current Challenges and Ways to Overcome Them
On July 8 at 10:00 AM, in Room G 106 of Ilia State University, the Legal Clinic and the Practical Legal Clinic of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, in cooperation with the Human Rights Clinic of Ilia State University’s School of Law, will hold a conference on clinical legal education titled: “Clinical Legal Education Conference – Current Challenges and Ways to Overcome Them.”
During the conference, speakers will discuss the specific characteristics of legal clinical courses at various universities, students’ clinical experiences, and both the common and individual challenges faced by legal clinics in Georgian higher education institutions, on both national and international levels. The discussion will also explore funding opportunities and potential partnerships.
The conference will be attended by representatives of legal clinics from universities across Georgia, as well as students. The event will be facilitated and moderated by Professor Bridget Arimond, Clinical Professor of Law at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.
