Professor from Krakow Academy Ignatianum visited the Faculty of Social Sciences
On November 13-17, 2023, Professor Piotr Musiewicz from Krakow Academy Ignatianum (Poland) visited the Faculty of Social Sciences of Sulkhan-Saba Orbelian University within the framework of Erasmus+ mobility for academic staff.
During his visit, the Polish professor made a speech on the topic: From Communism to Democracy: Political and Social Transformation of Central Europe since 1989. The Case of Poland. The report was presented in a round table format, fostering discussions among students and academic staff specializing in political science and international relations. The engaging session included an interactive discussion, where the attendees asked questions and shared their opinions.
In addition to presenting a public report in the round table format, the professor participated in the first international scientific conference SOCIETIES IN TRANSITION, In Search of Peace and Well-being organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences, where he presented a report on the topic: The Catholic Church and the war in Ukraine.
In addition, he participated in the workshop organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences for academic staff led by Jean-Charles Cailliez (HDR, MBA), Vice-President for Innovation at the Catholic University of Lille, Director of HEMiSF4iRE, Design School. The workshop was dedicated to the topic: "How to innovate in pedagogy to make your students more collaborative? Illustration with the reverse classroom."
In addition to the above, Professor Piotr Musiewicz met with representatives of the administration of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Associate Professor Tamar Kobuladze and invited lecturer Lia Gelashvili. He also held a meeting with the manager of international relations, Shorena Parunashvili. During the meetings with the administration staff, the focus was on future cooperation plans.
The mobility of Professor Piotr Musiewicz was carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ mobility for academic staff.
