Head of advisory board visits Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin

On March 24, 2025, the Chairman of the Advisory Board of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, Professor Vaja Vardidze, visited the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, where he met with the Rector of the host university, Professor Radosław Dobrovolski. The meeting was also attended by the vice-rector for development and cooperation with the economy, Professor Zbigniew Pastuszak, the Deputy Dean for education of the Faculty of Philology, dr hab. Jarosław Krajka, and Karolina Sokolińska, head of the Office for Supporting Studies and International Students.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the deepening and strengthening of cooperation between the universities.

The cooperation between Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University began in 2023 with the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, which was accompanied by funding from the Erasmus+ ICM KA171 project. Within the framework of the project, Sabauni students and professors will visit the Polish university under the mobility program.
