Call for Papers for the Jubilee Volume

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University announces the call for papers for a jubilee volume dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Ivane Javakhishvili in the following fields:

• Church History
• Ecclesiastical and Canon Law
• Legal History
• History of Politics and International Relations
• Economic History

Formal requirements for submissions: 12–15 pages; Sylfaen font, 12 pt for the main text and 10 pt for footnotes; line spacing 1.15 for the main text and 1.0 for footnotes; margins 2 cm on all sides. Sources must be cited in footnotes at the bottom of each page. Academic sources should be referenced in abbreviated form (surname, year, page). Each paper must also include a bibliography listing academic sources only.

Submissions are open to the academic staff, doctoral candidates, and invited lecturers of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. Applicants must complete the electronic application form by 31 March, indicating the title and abstract of the proposed paper 

Authors of selected abstracts will be contacted no later than 6 April.

Deadline for article submission: 20 August.

Peer review: 

• August–September; 
• editing: October–December; 
• publication: January 2027.
