Palacký University Staff Visit at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University

From May 27 to 31, 2025, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University hosted Dominik Opatrný, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theology at Palacký University, and Ivan Drábek, Grant Manager. The visit of the Czech guests was organized and carried out within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 credit mobility program, funded by the European Commission.

During the visit, Dominik Opatrný and Ivan Drábek met with Professor Gocha Barnovi, Dean of the Faculty of Theology; Professor Tamar Kobuladze, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences; Natia Shekiladze, University Chancellor; and Shorena Parunashvili, International Relations Manager.

At the meetings, the parties discussed the mobilities already implemented and those planned within the ongoing Erasmus+ ICM project, as well as future collaboration opportunities and plans.

Professors Gocha Barnovi and Tamar Kobuladze thanked the guests for hosting students from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University within the Erasmus+ KA171 project and noted that students return from their mobility at Palacký University especially grateful and satisfied.

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and Palacký University in Olomouc have been collaborating within the Erasmus+ KA171 student and staff mobility program since the 2020–2021 academic year.
