Cognitive Activities

  • Imitative Judicial Process in Criminal Law  - is conducted annually initiated by students and with the support of the faculty. Participants are preparing for competition during whole month. Final process is conducted in Tbilisi City Court. At the end of litigation the Jury determines winner team, the Best Bar and the Best Prosecutor, they are awarded with special prizes.
  • Imitative Investigation and Judicial Process – Trainings are for the participants on the Investigation and Judicial Process, afterwards imitative Investigation and Judicial Process takes place (Half-final and Final).
  • Games of Law-Yard  - the purpose of this project is increasing interests in legal issues for students and deepening of their knowledge. In competition teams consisted of Five (5) students are participating, they emulate with each other in case solution. 
  • Successful History of NATO -With the supervision of Sabauni lecturer Arina Tavakarashvili within the frame of NATO week, students meet with the Head of NATO Liaison Office in Georgia, ambassadors of NATO member states and high officials of Georgia’s state authorities.
  • Berghoph Project – Initiated by Berghoph Foundation and it’s Georgian team new peace project is started  - the dialogue about the history, as the ground of normalization. The project aims the dialogue between Georgian-Abkhazian societies past, in both societies open discussion space appearance and enlargement. Within the frame of the project work meetings, workshops are conducted between various interest groups. On workshops are used listening to biography interview and consideration/discussion methodology. Participants listen to and consider biography interviews of Georgian, Abkhazian and Osetian human’s. In interviews humans, which personally faced ethno-political conflicts existed in Georgia tell their own stories, memories and describe the facts happened in the past which they saw with their eyes. In the project Law students of Sabauni participate as well.
  • Meeting with Famous People – time by time Sabauni is visited by successful lawyers, writers, servants of art, scientists or ecclesiastics, which talk about various urgent topics. Students have opportunity to apply to them with questions and exchange own views. 
  • Masterclasses of Professors of Sabauni Foreign Partner Universities – Sabauni is often visited by Professors of its partner Universities from abroad, they conduct masterclasses, trainings and public lections for Sabauni students.
