English Philology (Bachelor)

Specialty: English Philology 

Awarded Academic degree:  Bachelor of Arts in English Philology

Duration of study: 4 years (240 ECTS).

Language of learning: Georgian with English components

Annual fee: 2500 GEL

The purpose of the Bachelor's Degree Program in English Philology is to provide students with the following:


(A) Acquire a broad knowledge of the field of English Philology, including the structure and composition of the English Language, peculiarities of British and American culture and literature, and the ability to apply acquired knowledge in practice;
(B) Develop the ability to communicate freely in English in different contexts for various purposes and audiences;
(C) gain proficiency in a Second Foreign Language (German/French/Russian);
(D) Develop the capacity to search for and critically analyze material pertaining to field-specific, Linguistic, or Literary Concerns;
(E) To establish the responsibility required for adhering to ethical principles in professional activity in the field of English Philology, participation in the process of forming values and striving for their establishment, continuous updating of knowledge, perfection of competencies, and professional development.
