The Institute of the Theology and Philosophy
The Institute of Theology and Philosophy is a scientific research unit at the Faculty of Theology at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. The members of the institute are professors and researchers interested in theology and philosophy, who have received theological and philosophical education in leading schools in Georgia and Europe.
The Institute is focused on research activities in the fields of theology, philosophy, and church history. It has published both Georgian and translated books and textbooks that address topical issues in the research field of the Institute.
In addition to academic and research publications, the Institute organizes both local and international conferences and panel discussions dedicated to pressing problems and challenges in the church, theology, or philosophy.
The director of the institute is Guram Lursmanashvili.
