The undergraduate program in Sociology provides both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for empirical research. The program will help to increase the number of qualified specialists in the labor market, which is also useful for the development of the field.
The student will acquire extensive theoretical knowledge and develop sociological practice, as well as develop the skills necessary for the practical application of sociological research and the practical application of sociological theory.
Program Purposes:

  • Training a qualified specialist with a bachelor's degree in sociology, studying the functions of sociology, developing sociological research and other professional skills.
  • Inculcation of innovative approaches in the direction of Sociology and integration of the results of scientific research in teaching process
  • Evaluation of university traditions by means of fundamental and useful scientific research in direction of Sociology;
  • Preparation of new scientific staff in so far

Bachelor of Sociology degree Programme graduate may pursue career in:
Graduates of the Bachelor of Sociology program will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in both private and public and non-governmental sectors in any position where a bachelor’s degree in sociology is required. 
The program provides extensive and in-depth theoretical knowledge as well as hands-on experience, enabling graduates to pursue successful careers in sociology.
