On June 25, 2026, the Institute of Development Studies and the Faculty of Business and Technology at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University are pleased to announce the forthcoming 8th International Scientific Conference in Development Studies: “Sustainable Development in the Era of Modern Transformations: Institutional Challenges and Innovative Pathways’’.

The conference will focus on the following areas :

• Formation of a New World Order and Development Challenges
• Institutional Transformations and New Development Models
• Technological Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, and Development Dilemmas
• Sustainable Development, ESG, and Green Transformation
• Education, Human Capital, Knowledge Ecosystems and the Future of Work.

In addition, the scientific committee of the conference welcomes research outcomes from other fields that respond to the main theme of the conference. 

Important Dates:

• 15 April: Submission of abstracts and applications
• 30 April: Notification of acceptance to the conference
• 25  June: Conference
• 5 September: Submission of papers for publication
