2nd International Conference “Societies in Transition”

On December 18, 2024, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University organizes a second international scientific conference, "Societies in Transition.".
The main idea of the conference is:
Exploring interdisciplinary perspectives in socio-political issues of post-transitional societies opens up a range of possibilities. It broadens the capacity to examine political conflicts, both from historical and modern perspectives, as well as to study experiences in the area of European security. The Conference can also delve into the challenges posed by the new world order and the evolution of societies, including conflicts, mental health considerations, and the impact of social and other factors.
The conference will feature two main thematic sections. The first will focus on Politics and International Relations, while the second will center on Psychology.
Goals of the Conference:
The conference aims to provide an understanding of contemporary research and practices, analyze current research findings, prevent emerging problems, and identify paths and opportunities for intervention and utilization of existing practices.
Doctors and Ph.D. candidates are entitled to participate in the conference.
The conference aims to showcase scientific assumptions and findings, analyze challenging topics, demonstrate prevention and intervention strategies for anticipated problems, and share best practices. Participation is open to scientists holding a doctorate or equivalent academic degree, as well as PhD students.

Submitted papers will be sent for the review commission. After the review and positive feedback, the papers will be published in the following journals:
