“ International Conference: The Church in the Second Millennium.”

On May 27, as part of International Week at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, the Faculty of Theology and the Institute of Theology and Philosophy jointly organized the Second International Theological Conference.

The theme of the conference was “The Church in the Second Millennium.” Thirteen professors from Italy, Greece, Poland, and Georgia participated in the event. Their presentations addressed a wide range of topics, including Church history, canon law, liturgics, late Byzantine theology, and the relationship between the Church and the state.

The event was successful, and during its course, the importance of international cooperation in the fields of education and development was once again emphasized.
