FUCE Scholarship for the students from Faculty of Theology and Social Sciences
Sabauni offers the FUCE scholarship to students from the faculty of Theology and Social Sciences. Students can apply to FUCE member universities for one semester of study mobility. The total scholarship is 2,500 euros (for travel and living).
Applicants must:
- Be a student of the faculty of theology or Social Sciences at Sabauni.
- Have a good academic record.
- Have a good command of the language of instruction for the courses to be followed.
- The student must not have already received another grant during the mobility semester.
- Be able to show that they possess the personal qualities to benefit from their mobility grant and use it to succeed in their chosen career;
- Be a citizen of Georgia.
Selection procedures:
First step: student must send the following documentation to the International Relations Office of Sabauni (ir@sabauni.edu.ge) in subject, please indicate FUCE Scholarship.
Documentation:
- Application form
- Copy of passport or ID
- Student registration document at the university
- Academic records (in English)
- International certificate confirming a good command (B2) of the foreign language (if not available, a document issued by the Sabauni Language Center will also be acceptable)
- A 200-word statement about themselves with a focus on their educational objectives, their professional goals and aspirations, and how they think this mobility grant will help them achieve their goals
- Letter of reference (Dean of the Faculty, Professor)
- A Fuce Learning Agreement Signed by all parties
- Acceptance letter from the hosting university
The IR manager provides assistance in contacting hosting universities.
Second step: interinstitutional selection or interview with the selection committee
Selection Criterias:
- Academic records
- Foreign language competence
- Motivation
Notice: applicants who have never received a study scholarship abroad will receive preference.
Third step: sending all documents to the FUCE secretary and final selection by FUCE

- Letter of reference (Dean of the Faculty, Professor, Academic Supervisor)
- FUCE learning agreement. This agreement must be completed and approved by both institutions (sending and hosting).
- Letter of acceptance from the host university.
Important Deadlines:
February 27th, 15:00: Info Meeting with Students
April 15th: application submission
April 4th, 10:00: Test in Foreign Language for those who do not have an international certificate (students wishing to write the test should come to room 408)
April 18th: Interview with the selection committee
Final answers will be announced in June, and applicants will be informed by email.
Please note that e-mails sent during days off will be answered on working days.
