Visit of a professor from the Pontifical University of Krakow to Sabauni
From March 30 to April 3, 2026, Professor Olga Nadskakuła-Kaczmarczyk from the Pontifical University of Kraków visited the Faculty of Social Sciences as part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Program.
The visit began with a meeting organized by the International Relations Manager, which was also attended by Spanish professors from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, who were participating in Erasmus+ academic mobility during the same period. At the meeting, International Relations Manager Shorena Parunashvili introduced the guests to the university's history and its partnerships with international institutions.
Professor Nadskakula-Kaszmarchik also met with the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Tamar Kobuladze, and Assistant Dean Lia Gelashvili. The meeting centered on ways to strengthen future academic cooperation between their institutions.
During her visit, Professor Nadskakula-Kaszmarchik delivered lectures on Russian disinformation and its various forms to students enrolled in the Bachelor's and Master's programs of the Faculty of Social Sciences.
Reflecting on her experience, Professor Nadskakula-Kaszmarchik shared the following:
"This mobility was an incredibly inspiring and rewarding experience. I firmly believe it opens up many promising opportunities for future cooperation between our universities. We had the chance to explore potential directions for collaboration, including academic exchanges and joint initiatives. I particularly value the spirit of mutual understanding and openness that was established during this visit, and I hope it marks the beginning of a closer, long-term partnership.
The greatest benefit of this mobility was the opportunity to engage directly with Georgian students and academic staff, which allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of their perspectives, experiences, and local context. It was also a wonderful chance to exchange ideas, compare approaches, and enrich my own research and teaching with fresh insights."
