A public round table - Terrorism as a Global Threat
Organized by the Faculty of Social Sciences of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, Prof. Klementina Kozma of the Pázmány Péter Catholic University gave a public round table at Sabauni about the following issue: Terrorism as a Global Threat.
Prof. Kozma's mobility was implemented within Erasmus+ staff mobility for teaching program.
The meeting was attended by students and academic staff, after the presentation, the meeting continued in a discussion format, where the audience asked questions and shared opinions.
The main points of the lecture were focused on:
- Historical context, since many Eastern European countries have similar experiences with the Soviet Union, therefore sovereignty as such is a key factor;
- Strategic location, has a vital role due to the challenges posed by Great powers competition and because it has a linking role between different regions;
- How could NATO improve its deterrence and enhance collective defense;
- Case studies, focusing on Poland and Romania.
