Representatives of the International Relations Office of Pázmány Péter Catholic University Visit Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University
From April 3 to 9, 2025, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University hosted representatives from the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Law at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Budapest, Hungary). The delegation included Professor Petra Láncos, Ms. Zsuzsanna Polák, and Ms. Mercedes Locskay.
Professor Láncos delivered a series of lectures to law students on the topic of “Protection of Regional or Minority Languages under the Language Charter.”
Zsuzsanna Polák and Mercedes Locskay held meetings with Ms. Shorena Parunashvili, Manager of the International Relations Office at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University. The discussions focused on ongoing collaborative projects and future plans between the two institutions.
Since 2024, Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University has been cooperating with Pázmány Péter Catholic University through the Erasmus+ KA171 mobility program for staff and students. In addition to the Erasmus+ partnership, the universities have collaborated on joint conferences, research initiatives, and other academic activities. Both institutions are also members of the Catholic Universities Partnership (CUP) and actively participate in events organized by the University of Notre Dame.
The visit of the Hungarian delegation was conducted within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 staff mobility program. Under the same program, three students from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University have participated in one-semester exchange studies at the Hungarian university.
