A student of Sabauni's tourism program studied at the Catholic University of Lille in France
Tornike Dzirkvelishvili, a student of Sulkhan-Saba Orbelian University, Faculty of Business and Technology, Tourism program, studied at Lille Catholic University in France during the spring semester of 2023 as part of the exchange program.
"First of all, I would like to point out that Sabauni as a university is significantly distinguished by the abundance of exchange programs and opportunities, for which I am very grateful to it and especially to the lecturers who gave me such a level of education during the 3 academic years that I did not have any serious difficulties when studying abroad.
Lille, France is not so big, but very interesting, beautiful and lively city, especially in terms of student life. The city brings together students from almost all parts of the world. There are many student activities in France, the University of Lille and Erasmus equally took care to make each week of study fun and informative, organizing evenings, hikes, sports events and allowing us to get as much positive emotions as possible.
It is important to note that there was a wide choice of subjects, within a month of my arrival I could attend several subjects, decide if I liked and wanted to take that particular one. Also, it is very gratifying that I met many people of different cultures and nationalities, which deepened my knowledge of English, broadened my outlook and made me more communicative. I had the opportunity to travel to almost all major cities in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany and also Paris.
I hope that many students will be motivated to participate in Erasmus or various exchange programs, because this program made me more independent, forward-thinking, allowed me to better plan the future and, most importantly, to get to know the world" - Tornike Dzirkvelishvili.
