International Staff Week at Salamanca

Vice rector of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, prof. Dimitry Gegenava and international relations manager Shorena Parunashvili participated in International Staff week, organized by the Pontifical University of Salamanca (Spain). Around 50 University representatives from all over the world attended the Staff Week. The main topic was Internationalization and during the week participants discussed the following:

• Internationalization at home
• Internationalization of curricula
• Short term mobility and Blended Mobility
• International students and professors’ integration.
• International credit mobility program with program and partner countries

According to the IW agenda, several presentations, group works and workshops were planned. The participants were able to present their home universities, speak about their best practices, share foreign partners experience and talk about challenges and new approaches of Internationalization. Beside this, the aim of the week was encouraging new partnerships among participants.

International Staff Week was hold on 17-21 April at the Pontifical University of Salamanca within Erasmus+ program. This is the good beginning of partnership between Sulklhan-Saba Orbeliani University and the Pontifical University of Salamanca, on base which student mobility at Spanish university is planned for the next semester.
