Erasmus+ mobility of the Dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Cadiz

Dean of the Faculty of Law of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, Professor Giorgi Goradze was on an Erasmus+ staff mobility for a teaching program at the university of Cadiz, Spain.

During his one-week mobility, Sabauni professor conducted lectures and seminars for foreign students. The topics of the lectures were the identity of Georgian constitutionalism regarding European constitutionalism, as well as ongoing Russia-Ukraine war and its consequences. In addition, during the mobility period, Giorgi Goradze met with the Dean of the faculty of law, the Head of the program and the Vice-rector of the university.

“Visit to the University of Cadiz was crucial. We have planned many mutual projects for the future. For this purpose, we agreed with the dean to exchange the contact information of our lecturers, who have the desire for international cooperation. I talked to them about our teaching methods, which they liked very much. Many of them also told me that despite their efforts, they had not been able to implement such an approach (meaning practice-oriented teaching) yet. Therefore, Sabauni became a kind of "quality indicator" for them “- Giorgi Goradze

As a result of the aforementioned visit, the academic staff of the University of Cadiz will cooperate with the English-language journal of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University-Orbeliani Law Review, as a reviewer.  Besides, Sabauni will be involved in the Jean Monnet project together with the University of Cadiz and also many other research projects are planned to be implemented within the framework of active cooperation between universities.
