First meeting of STAR project in Brno
From 5th of February till 11th of February of 2017 Irakli Tskhadadze, Dean of Sabaunis’ Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and Gvantsa Abdaladze, chair of International Relations Bachelor’s program spent a business visit in Brno, Czech Republic. The Masaryk University hosted a first kick-off meeting of STAR (Sustainable Learner Centered Teaching, Advanced Resources for Georgia and China) project, funded under Erasmus+ KA2 program.
During the project meeting the participant were informed more information about the project, activities foreseen the project and its realization ways.
This project focuses on professional development of teachers in the area of innovative pedagogical approaches.
The key objective is to address the shortcoming in higher education across Georgia and China by systematically engaging HEIs in new practices with a learner-centred focus.
The project has started on 15th of October of 2016 and its duration is 3 years.
