Another Academic Achievement of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University Staff

A joint research article by professors of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University Salome Gogberashvili, Nino Latsabidze, and Shorena Gogiashvili titled - “AI in English Language Teaching at Higher Education Institutions in Georgia: Usage, Training Gaps, and Institutional Support” has been published in the high-impact, Q1-ranked international journal JALT CALL Journal, indexed in the Scopus database.

The study explores the use of artificial intelligence in English language teaching at higher education institutions in Georgia. The article reviews current AI integration practices, professional training needs, and institutional support mechanisms.

The research places particular emphasis on the challenges related to the development of AI competencies among academic staff, as well as the formation of relevant institutional policies and support systems within universities.
