Head of the English Philology Program in an International Educational Project
Shorena Gogiashvili, Associate Professor and Head of the English Program at Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, has successfully worked within the framework of an international project aimed at the internationalization of higher education in Georgia.
The professor led the development of a specialized module on Legal English, which equips law students with professional English language competencies in line with international standards. This initiative is particularly important for the harmonization of legal education with international standards.
The project Consulting Services for Promoting the Internationalization of Higher Education is being implemented by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia (MESY) with the financial support of the World Bank
The modules were developed within the framework of the Higher Education Component of the I2Q Project, with the support of the World Bank. The consulting company selected through an international tender – UCL Consultant, worked on them in cooperation with the consulting company Savvy business .
Within the framework of the project, English-language educational modules of various directions were developed, which are already available to higher education institutions in Georgia.
