Visit to the Catholic University of Croatia

On February 20, 2025, a delegation from Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University visited the Catholic University of Croatia. As part of the visit, Sabauni representatives held a meeting with representatives of the International Relations Office of the host university and the Erasmus+ program coordinators.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the existing cooperation between the universities, common projects and future opportunities. After the exchange of information, several interesting directions were identified where the universities could cooperate, specifically, joint master's programs, student and staff exchange programs (both Erasmus+ and individual), study visits and involvement in scientific activities (conferences, research).

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University was represented by the Vice-Rector, Professor Dimitry Gegenava, International Relations Manager, Shorena Parunashvili, and the Head of the Anti-Discrimination Center, Tsisia Okropiridze.

The meeting was attended by the following from the Catholic University of Croatia: Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator, Professor Zoran Turza, Professor of the Faculty of Law, Luka Šešo, and Professor of the Faculty of History, Hrovie Kekeš. The meeting was organized by the Head of the Mobility Department, Aleksandra Gečević.

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University and the Catholic University of Croatia have been cooperating for years within the framework of institutional cooperation projects.
