Call for Training - “Differences Make No Difference”

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University announces a call for the training of young leaders from Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia in the frames of the project “Differences Make No Difference.” The project is funded by the DAAD from funds of the European Union and seeks to educate young people of the South Caucasus in European values, policies, and their role in the region, fostering a sense of connection and mutual understanding. The project is designed to increase awareness and understanding of the European Union among youth in the South Caucasus region through overcoming hybrid threats associated with disinformation and propaganda.

The training will be organized in Tbilisi from January 14 to January 18 at the premises of Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University, covering a broad array of the issues addressing stakeholder mapping, thought leadership, strategic communications, storytelling, negotiations, and the fight against disinformation and propaganda. The training will contribute towards a more robust and mutually beneficial relationship between the South Caucasus countries and the European Union.

The call for training is open to young people who reside in Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia (aged 18-30) interested in European values, democracy, and freedom and therefore have a willingness to engage in the process of empowerment for a new generation of informed and regionally connected citizens. The working language is English. In order to be considered, applicants are expected to have at least B2 in English.

Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University will provide travel allowance and accommodation for Armenian and Azerbaijani participants.
