LL.M Scholarships in Budapest
The Academy of Central Europe (Budapest, Hungary) is accepting applications for a one-year LL.M in human rights and LL.M in International and Comparative Children Rights. The program will be held in a hybrid format. Lectures will be held online on weekends. During the first semester (October - mid-December) one 4-day lecture course is scheduled on site (Budapest) and two face-to-face meetings (one 4-day lecture course, and one meeting for final exams
(May/June)) during the second semester (February - April).
 In the first semester, the minimum amount of the scholarship is the tuition fee and registration
fee (currently HUF 250.000 + HUF 3.000), and the maximum amount is HUF 900 000.
The HRRL LL.M. Scholarship also includes the educational materials free of charge.
Eligibility criteria:
- University Law Degree
- CV
- Motivation letter which contains professional experience and plans in terms of a future career related to human rights and rule of law
- Proof of English working proficiency (B2)
Holding a PhD. degree, participation in an ongoing PhD. programme, practical experience in the field of human rights and rule of law, outstanding knowledge of English, and Central or Eastern European affiliation will be considered an advantage.

In case of equal points, preference will be given to applicants who have not participated in international exchange projects.
Stages:
First stage; September 7-13: selection of applicants and sending the list of nominated students
to the Academy
The second stage; After September 15: selection of applicants by the Central European
Academy, communication with them.
